What is New Voices?

New Places. New Friends. New Adventures. New Voices.

As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, we see news of people, places and events from remote and exotic places around the globe. New Voices is a service learning program which allows high school students to experience what’s behind the news by traveling to Costa Rica to work and connect personally with Costa Rican school age students across language, cultural and geographic borders. New Voices gives students the opportunity to develop a personal sense of global awareness and the raw materials to create their own new voice for positive global change and development.
