Students from Liceo de Sámara travel to Nosara to celebrate independence day.


Students from Liceo de Sámara traveled about an hour up the Pacific coast to participate in performances to celebrate Costa Rica’s day of independence. Festivities included, dancing, musical performance and a competition of who had the best “grito Guanacasteco”, a loud vocal call traditionally used by Costa Rican farmers to herd cows.
